July 14 is #WorldOrcaDay. World Orca Day was founded by #orca expert Dr. Ingrid Visser in 2013. Celebrating all things orca, the Mission of World Orca Day is to raise awareness about global orca populations, the threats that they face and the projects that are researching and conserving them. By creating a space where people who have an interest in orca can come together, the overarching goal is to increase protection for the species and, as a result, the #oceans.
